Six engagements, six contexts, the same industrialisation work

Each case is set out in context, with what was done and what it produced. The figures quoted come from the projects themselves.

Française des JeuxSustaining 100 million calls a day

Context

The online betting infrastructure had to absorb sharp growth without degrading response times, under an absolute resilience constraint: downtime during a sporting fixture translates directly into lost revenue.

What was done

Audit of the existing architecture, API performance rework, architecture document for the new content manager running containerised, study on hardening bet placement security, evolution of the live-odds distribution system.

Outcome: Infrastructure absorbing more than 100 million API calls a day. The additional betting it opened up represents several hundred thousand euros of daily revenue.

Thales — Digital FactoryKubernetes clusters on demand, with cost under control

Context

The Digital Factory supplied AKS clusters to internal teams, with partly manual provisioning and a cloud bill that was hard to attribute to actual usage.

What was done

A Go operator and admission policies for per-profile permissions, a Python API driven by Argo Workflows covering the full cluster lifecycle, multi-tenant isolation reworked with Capsule, and the FinOps stack rolled out.

Outcome: A catalogue of clusters provisioned on demand, consistent isolation between tenants, and capacity that follows real load rather than a flat forecast.

French Ministry of JusticeIndustrialising a sovereign archival platform

Context

The AXONE programme brings together two distinct architectures — VITAM and XAM — deployed across five environments in two data centres of the NUBO government cloud, with accumulated debt in automation practice.

What was done

Audit of the infrastructure as code, design and implementation of the disaster recovery plan, Terraform modules and Ansible roles validated with Molecule, full monitoring with custom-written Prometheus exporters.

Outcome: Reproducible deployment across all five environments, monitoring covering machines, services and databases, and operating documentation the internal teams can actually use.

Paris Police PrefectureOpening an internal Kubernetes cluster service

Context

The architecture unit wanted to offer internal projects Kubernetes clusters on demand, inside an environment subject to very strict security constraints.

What was done

Production chain designed on the Karbon hyperconverged platform, continuous integration and delivery models defined, an Ansible role library covering RKE cluster creation, networking, storage and certificate rotation, then a study for a SecNumCloud-qualifiable offering.

Outcome: A working on-demand cluster service, a reusable role library, and DevSecOps practice handed over to the internal teams.

AareonA SaaS platform for 300 clients across five countries

Context

The Smart World property management software had to move from a monolith to a multi-tenant solution able to serve more than 300 clients across five European countries.

What was done

Containerised microservices architecture, software architecture using domain-driven design with CQRS and circuit breaker patterns, an OpenResty gateway handling OAuth2 and access control, and full test pipeline industrialisation.

Outcome: A multi-tenant platform in production, and microservices, Docker and domain-driven design practice handed over to the fifteen-strong team.

Republic of Gabon — ANINFLaying the architecture of a national e-Government

Context

The Gabon Digital 2025 plan aimed to give the national agency for digital infrastructure and frequencies the means to roll out a coherent electronic administration.

What was done

Architecture study report for the e-Government programme, support to ANINF in steering the national plan, and current cloud and architecture practice brought in.

Outcome: An architecture document serving as the reference for the national programme, produced with an eleven-person team over a long cycle.
